Reflection Journal

Sound-booth is used to add and make audio clips using either audio flies or clips from the internet or the resource central in Sound-booth.When turning a written story into a sound story, you need to look for sounds that would go with the story's parts. You can also use images in sound-booth to match the story. It might seem difficult but it isn't if you know what you're looking for.I typed up my story and I looked for the images that went with certain points and details of the story.
The scene I got was Bill Jr. riding through town on his bed during a storm. He then falls out of the bed and looks for safety under it.He is then jumped on by another man who jumps on the bed he's under. When the bed is blown away,Jr. stops and thinks about what he's going to do next, unknowingly he is almost squashed by the front of a house that was torn down.He then runs to somewhere safe but then turns and runs in the opposite direction when his path is blocked by parts from broken buildings.
I planned on using some simple sounds such as running, winds, and etc.I also planned on lowering the sound of the winds every time the scene changed to an indoor setting.I've also added some little noises like splashes in water puddles when a box fell into one.
When I was recording for my follies,I decided to use my own voice in the clip.Towards the end of the clip I wanted Jr. to say "Nope" when the town block was covered in buildings. And I used the background noise I got from the recording as a new noise that could go with the storm because I couldn't filter it out.And in the end,it came out pretty good.

Reflection Questions 4 (Overdue)

These reflection questions will answer the difference between the vector tools and the paint brush tools of photo-shop. What tools I used in the Photo-shop project? Explaining which tool was easier to use in the project (brushes/shapes)? What part of vectoring the images was difficult for me? And lastly, comparing both projects, what strengths were shown in both projects, and how did they help make the final picture.
Question 1:What is the difference between a vector and a paintbrush? The answer to that is the vector tool outlines and hides the outline whether it be inside the line or outside. And the paintbrush tool, well basically paints (very simple if you ask me). Now, Question 2: Which tools did I use to recreate said drawn picture? I used the paintbrush, vector, and marquee tools. That is it.
Now for Question 3: Explain what tool was easier to use in the project, brushes or shapes? To be completely honest, both tools were easy to use. All I had to do was use the mouse to make shapes and lines for shapes and brushes. Question 4: What part of vectoring the images was difficult for me? For me well, the vectoring became difficult for me when I needed to get that right shape I wanted, but since I used a mouse, it was difficult for me.
Time for the last question. Question 5: Comparing both projects, what were the strengths that were shown in both projects and how did it help make the final picture? Well, in the shape project, it showed my creative side since I made it myself. The other one, not a lot can be said about that. But none the less, it brought something out, just not creativity. And thus ends another Reflection Question (overdue).

Reflection "The Importance of Taking Notes"

Today I'll be blogging about the importance of "taking notes". Apparently our teacher thinks that I don't write down notes when he talks. Well because of his thinking,I have to write a three paragraph blog about the importance of "taking notes". So let's begin.
Notes are used to help a student remember a certain part of a lesson. The students would right them down every time he or she hears something important from the teacher. They write it down on their notebook or piece of paper and save it for another time when it might come in help. Notes are also important for studying for a test on said subject. If someone forgets to write notes on an important subject, they would forget that important subject and fail to study.
In conclusion, notes are important to a student's learning growth in school. Many students should take notes  so that they can learn from said notes and apply it to test or exam that may come up. In short, that is the importance of "taking notes.

Reflection Question 2

I chose Master Chief for this project because this character I thought had enough pictures for the project. He was the face for three major games, which had enough images on the web.The images I used for the project was two grenades, because they were used the most by the Chief.A shotgun because its one f his main weapons. An assault rifle, another of his main weapons.Sergeant Johnson because he is one of the main people in the game close to Chief.Cortana,a A.I. that Chief uses through the entire trilogy. The Arbiter because he's Chief's rival and war alley. The blue sphere is called the guilty spark,I used it because he was the enemy of the Chief. And the little squid thing known as the Flood, they were the Chief's and the human races main enemy. And lastly the rings are what the Chief's been tied to through the entire trilogy, the Halo Rings.
I would say the mask/selection made the silhouette kind of work cause I see a little mishap in it.The words I chose for Master Chief's description were brave, cunning, silent, powerful, and strong.I chose those words because Chief is the ultimate soldier, having the strength of 20 men,he takes on an entire fleet of alien armadas,he is strategically sound, and has the greatest rank in the space marines. The size of the words,I had to keep changing the size to fit around him.

Reflection Question

The objective of this project was to swap the heads of two different people. To do that,we had to use the magic wand, lasso, polygon lasso, magnetic lasso, and quick selection tool.Circle around the heads one at a time, cut them to a new layer, move each to over to the other neck, and place them on their new body.I decided to use the picture that my teacher gave me because I found more suitable for the project. It came out better than I had anticipated.
The most difficult part of the project was the head cutting,it was hard to use the lassos because I couldn't get a perfect cut out that only had the head. When using the lasso tools,I would sometimes get a piece of the background while trying to circle the head.If I were to re-do this picture,I would try to make the heads match the neck.Maybe try to re-size the heads so that the women's head would fit the man's body, and the man's head would fit the women's body.
